Dy CM Jishnu Dev Varma visited COVID vaccination Centre at Boxanagar

Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma visited COVID vaccination Centre at Boxanagar CHC, Rahimpur and Bijoynagar subcenters in Boxanagar block and Rangamatia subcenter in Nalchar block.

He also visited vaccination sub centre in Sonamura to ensure 100% vaccination within the next 48 hours in these areas.

Most of these areas have done over 90 percent vaccination and will complete the rest.

Today 22 GP/VCs were declared as 100% of which 4 are VCs ( 3 in Charilam and 1 in Nalchar).

Among 111 GPs in the district, except 1 in Boxanagar ( Kulubari – about 40 persons are left), remaining all 110 GPs have been saturated.

Jampuijila block showed amazing performance today with 1689 vaccines in a single day, which is its highest performance till now.

The statewide special COVID Vaccination campaign has been extended till July 31.

In order to achieve hundred percent vaccine coverage for the eligible population in Tripura two day special vaccination drive started on July 27.
