“Measures have been taken with the aim of making the 2023 Tripura Assembly elections fair, peaceful and uninterrupted”, Chief Election Commissioner Rajeev Kumar said at the press conference on Thursday.
A full team of the National Election Commission headed by Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar has come to the state to look into the situation ahead of the 2023 Tripura Assembly elections.
Representatives of the National Election Commission met with representatives of all political parties on Wednesday.
Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar held a press conference at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhavan in Agartala on Thursday.
Other members of the delegation of the Election Commission were also present there.
Chief Election Commissioner said that the Election Commission has taken all measures to make the 2023 Tripura Assembly elections fair, free and peaceful.
He highlighted the various steps taken by the commission in the press conference.
CEO Rajiv Kumar said, “60 polling stations will be managed by women. There will be micro observers at each polling station who will be selected from the employees of the central government”.
He urged the voters to come forward more in voting. The full team of the National Election Commission left the state on this day.
