The present state govemment has paid extra attention to the education sector. Opportunities have been created for meritorious students belonging from poor background and from tribal families to participate in various educational and competitive examinations through adopting various schemes, said Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath after inaugurating newly built Bokafa Ashram English Medium Higher Secondary School under Santibaza sub division yesterday.
School was built at the cost of total 3 crore 89 lakh 72 thousand rupees. Education Minister said, the society and the country will move forward only when the future generation is educated with quality education, which is why training has been given to educate the teaching 148 Bengali Medium Schools have been converted to English Medium Schools.
Others present in the inaugural programme were MLA Pramod Reang, Chairman of Bokafa Panchayat Samiti Snidam Das, District Education Officer Pallab Kanti Saha and others. The programme was presided over by Bokafa BAC Chaimman Gouri Sankar Reang.
