Poverty alleviation is not a big challenge for the present state government. The big challenge now is to build a drug-free Tripura.
Various projects are being implemented for poverty alleviation.
The present government is providing concrete houses for the poor people and also providing free drinking water and electricity connection.
Already the number of poor people in the state has reduced significantly.
Education Minister Ratanlal Nath said this while inaugurating the Satellite OPD Substitution Therapy Center at Mohanpur Social Health Center on Thursday.
He added, “those who are addicted to drugs for various reasons should not hate those who are associated with them. The number of victims of HIV drug is also increasing in the state. There are various conspiracies going on to endanger the youth of the state”.
The education minister called upon people from all parts of society to come forward to build a drug-free Tripura.
