Where there is fear psychosis of corona’s new variant developing in the minds of common people of the state; the state administration is one step ahead busy in preparing the resistance of COVID spread and regulating new laws and protocols.
The state government is going to impose some restrictions soon to prevent corona infection.
The number of corona cases is increasing rapidly in the state along with the whole country.
Still people are seen careless and walking hither and tither not wearing a mask. This time the officials of sadar administration carried out action tasks sternly against Covid Protocols violators.
On Saturday, a team of sub-divisional administration conducted a mask force operation in different areas of the capital.
Those who do not wear masks are spot fined ignoring all excuses. Officials also said that the level of fine will be increased for the same mistake.
Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb has urged the people of the state to give importance to the use of masks keeping in view the current Corona situation.
The Chief Minister also called for maintaining social distance and not going into unnecessary crowds.
A high-level meeting was held on Saturday to keep in mind the current COVID situation in Tripura.
The Chief Minister also claimed that the state government is ready to deal with any possible Corona outbreak and that the state government has all the health infrastructure to stop any spread.
Chief Secretary Kumar Alok in his tweet said “Chaired Covid task force meeting to review our preparedness. More beds in Covid care centres, hospitals, paediatric ICUs etc planned. More medical officers and staff to be engaged for handling anticipated load. District control rooms with call centres will be made functional”.
He also added “More medicines to be procured even though sufficient stock exists to meet exigency, strong enforcement of mask wearing and social distancing necessary to reduce the spread. Some more restrictions will be imposed shortly. All are requested to cooperate for safety”.
