Forest Minister inaugurates Rowa Primates Festival

On Sunday, by the initiative of forest department and celebrating “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahutsav”; two day “Primates Festival” has been started in the Rowa Wildlife Sanctuary at Panisagar, North Tripura.

The Revenue and Forest Minister of Tripura NC Debbarma inaugurated the main event following the festival. While giving speech, he said “the state government has decided to organise such festival in all the 8 districts of Tripura.

It has started in the North District today and later would be followed in every district of Tripura.

Through such festivals, the understanding as well as bonding between forest, animals and human beings would get stronger and deeper.
