Former Deputy CM attends Barshabaran Utsav at Charilam

Boishakh month is the first month of Bengali year. Best wishes for the whole year are given through Barshavaran festival. Every festival we have is associated with the tune of the soil. Former Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Debvarma said this while inaugurating the Varshavaran festival at Charilam.

This annual festival is organized in collaboration with Sipahizla Zilla Parishad and Charilam Block. Inaugurating the Barshavaran festival, former Deputy Chief Minister Sridevavarma also said that the Barshavaran festival is part of our culture. Nature and agriculture are associated with this festival.
