Central and state governments are working to increase the income of farmers.
The government has given priority to the development of agriculture and the use of modern agricultural technology for the welfare of the farmers.
The present government of the state is setting up agricultural learning centers in every agricultural subdivision said Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Pranajit Singha Roy while inaugurating the Farmers’ Knowledge Centre at Korbook, Gomati Tripura.
He said the central government is providing 6,000 rs per annum directly to bank accounts under the PM Kisan Yojana to help farmers in farming.
In his tweet he said “GoT is earnestly working for the overall welfare and development of State’s farmers. Inaugurated Farmers’ Knowledge Centre at Korbook, Gomati Tripura”.
