Government committed to provide better medical services in state: Chief Minister

If there is a need for any equipment that benefits people in medical services, the government will look into it camestly. The government has made sincere efforts to provide better medical services in the state. There are problems but the government is serious enough to solve them Chief Minister Professor (Dr) Manik Saha said this at the conference of doctors at KLS Auditorium of AGMC & GBP Hospital last evening.

The Chief Minister addressed the Sixth Annual Conference cum Surgical Workshop of the Association of Otolaryngologists of India Tripura State Branch, He appealed to the doctors and said that whatever work the doctors do, people should know about it. Publicity is important for good work. The news of a good operation should reach people so that they can understand that medical services are available in this state. The Chief Minister commented that the number of patient referrals outside the states has decreased recently

In his speech, the Chief Minister recalled his personal relationship with ENT surgeons. He said that he was present at the conference despite his hectic schedule because he had a spiritual relationship with ENT doctors Addressing the new generation of doctors, the Chief Minister said that it is not enough practice to medicine alone. The doctors must be connected with each other. Live surgery is now available through which the students are benefiting.
