A special administrative cum health camp was held at the premises of Dasharath Deb Memorial English Medium Higher Secondary School in Killa yesterday.
An interaction session with the beneficiaries of different schemes was also held in the camp. The camp was inaugurated by Tribal Welfare Minister Rampada Jamatia. After inaugurating the camp, he said, such kind of camp is being organized to generate awareness among the people about different public welfare schemes taken by the central and the state government. People get an opportunity to avail administrative and healthcare services easily through such camps.
He said, the government is sincere towards socio-economic development of the indigenous people The present government is working taking bunch of plans including road construction, drinking water connections, power connections extensions, setting up of Eklavya Schools to increase the quality of education in rural areas.
Gomati District Magistrate Raval Hemendra Kumar urged everyone those who were present during the program to learn about different schemes of different department and avail services Welcome speech was delivered by Udaipur SDM Jayanta Bhattacharjee. He said, it is not possible for everyone of the area to avail all the government services in a single day which is why such camps are being held where locals can avail government services as well as get their health checked up by the doctors Health Official of Udaipur sub-division Dr nupur Debbarma was also present during the camp Vote of thanks was delivered by Killa block BDO Kamal Debbarma.
The dignitaries have also interacted with beneficiaries of different schemes. Total 225 patients of Killa block have got their health checked up.
