Govt initiates measures to modernize Home Depertment: CM

Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb paid a visit to 9th Bn Tripura State Rifles Headquarters to meet with Jawans and to inspect the condition of the camp.

He said among the northeastern states, Tripura has set an example in fight against drugs.

He further said that the upward graph of women’s crime control, improvement of law and order is a shining example in the case of Tripura.

The Chief Minister further said that a bunch of innovations are being added in the process of modernization of infrastructure. Recently, the people of the state have been able to realize this with multiple successes.

The work of modernizing the infrastructure of the Home Department and adding innovation in the working method is being implemented successfully. Tripura has set an example in fight against drugs among the northeastern states.

During the visit, the Chief Minister inquired about the quality of ration items, food and accommodation, sanitation and other issues of the TSR jawans.
