Heavy Rain Hits Normal Life In Tripura

Heavy rains continued across Tripura on friday and normal life in the region was severely affected.

Incessant rains from friday Morning disrupted normal life.

Water-logging has been reported in some areas

The Municipality and Public Works Department have set up pumpsets to drain the water.

• Fairly widespread rain and thunderstorms are likely over Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Gangetic-West Bengal, and Andaman-Nicobar Islands.
• Some spells may be heavy in Odisha, West Bengal coast, Mizoram, and Tripura.
• Isolated to scattered rain and thunderstorms are likely in Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Jharkhand, northern Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu.

However, some parts of Northeast India experiences isolated heavy rain locally.
