High level meeting at Secretariat on Government Asset Management

A high-level meeting was held on the management of government asset yesterday at the conference hall of the Secretariat under the direction of Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Sahu Chief Secretary J.K Sinha presided over the meeting.

Secretaries of various departments and officials of other related departments were present in the meeting. After a detailed discussion on the management of government assets, government houses. furniture, computers, vehicles etc., it was decided that one designated officer will be responsible for the management of government assets in each department and directorate. It was also decided in the meeting that every office room, office premises, office roof, weeds etc. will be cleaned consistently.

Moreover, a certain amount of financial grants will be kept for each department in the management of government assets. Besides, private institutions have also been requested to adopt similar programme The meeting also decided to clean all government offices and office premises on the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary on October 2.
