Home Minister reviews Bru Reang rehabilitation
Home Minister Amit Shah met Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb in New Delhi to review the Bru rehabilitation process Deb, who went to Delhi on Wednesday to attend the meeting, apprised the Home Minister about the latest status of the Bru rehabilitation.
Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb held detailed deliberations during the review meeting chaired by Home Minister, Amit Shah regarding rehabilitation process of Bru Reang displaced families in Tripura.
Shah, who met with the Tripura CM Biplab Kumar Deb at the national capital discussed on the progress of the permanent settlement of Brus in different parts of Tripura.
Deb, who is on his two-day Delhi tour, met the Union Home Minister at the national capital.

Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb in his tweet informed this. In his tweet he also said “Day to day monitoring will now be undertaken to ensure timely completion of rehabilitation process. Under the leadership of Hon’ble PM, Shri Narendra Modi ji, a landmark decision was taken to resolve the 23 year old issue of permanent rehabilitation of Bru-Reang displaced families in #Tripura. No stone will be left unturned to ensure effective implementation of the decision”.
