Hon’ble Civil Aviation Ministers assured to take necessary steps for initiating a direct flight from New Delhi & also increase frequency of flights towards Tripura ensuring cost-effective air travel for citizens.

Union Minister directed that a meeting be held by the Ministry officials with Indigo, Air India , Spicejet etc in presence of State Govt officials, regarding the issue of withdrawal of flights of Spicejet and Indigo.

Hon’ble Union Minister assured Hon’ble Chief Minister that one more flight would be added between Agartala and Kolkata.
He also directed concerned officials to examine feasibility of a direct flight between Delhi to Agartala (without stoppage)
