Hostels reopening from today in Tripura

It has been decided in the Higher Education Department that all Hostels under General Degree Colleges, Technical Colleges and Professional Colleges like CTE will be opened from 02.02.2022 and function normally.

The Principal Principal of all the Colleges/Institutions will take necessary action towards opening of the Hostels from 02.02.2022 and ensure the maintenance of all Covid appropriate behaviour in the hostels.

It has been decided in the cabinet meeting that all the hostels run by the school education department will be opened from today.

Besides, it has been decided to open degree college hostels, technical colleges, diet and professional colleges in hostels run by the higher education department from tomorrow. Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath announced the decision at a press conference in his office here today.

He said all the hostels in the state were completely closed due to the outbreak of corona.

The Department of School Education and the Department of Higher Education have already issued separate notices for reopening the hostels from today.
