The current government of Tripura is working to improve the socio-economic status of women.
Information and Cultural Affairs Minister Sushanta Chowdhury said it while inaugurating a mega loan camp organized by Council at Gitanjali Hall in Jirania on Wednesday.
He added that for the real development of the society, it must be ensured that women are not left behind in any way.
It may be noted that this loan giving camp was organized under Tripura Urban Livelihood Mission Scheme.
The Minister said that men and women should be given equal responsibility to build a self-reliant Tripura.
Keeping this slogan Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas in front, the state government is doing various developmental works.
