Pensioners’ Court was organized yesterday at Muktadhara Auditorium in Agartala under the initiative of Finance Department of Tripura Government. Finance Minister Pranajit Singha Roy was present as the chief guest on the occasion.
The main objective of the programme is to solve all the problems of government pensioners Officials of all institutions involved in the pension process like AG officers and various pensioners from far-flung parts of the state were present at the programme.
The Finance Minister inaugurated two portals on the occasion. Through one of these pension proposal can be sent directly from the Head of Office to the AG office and through another portal any pensioner can register his grievance online.
The Finance Minister said on the occasion that this initiative of the Finance Department is a step towards the development of the people of all sections following the path of Prime Minister Narendra Modi so that benefits reaches even the last person of the society. The Finance Minister also said that pensioners’ courts will be organized in every district this year to solve all the problems of pensioners
Finance Secretary Brijesh Pandey, Additional Secretary Akinchan Sarkar, Deputy Accountant General Lalit Kumar Bimal and other officials were present on the occasion This was informed through a press release from the Finance Department.
