India reports 2,59,591 new COVID19 cases, 3,57,295 discharges & 4,209 deaths in last 24 hrs, as per Health Ministry.

India reported 2,59,551 new COVID-19 cases and 4,209 deaths on Thursday. Tamil Nadu contributed the highest number of fresh cases, 35,571 , to the country’s daily caseload, while the second highest contributor was Kerala with 30,491 new cases.

Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu have the most number of rural districts that have seen sharp rise the last two weeks. Of the 30 rural districts that have seen at least 1000 additional weekly cases in the last two weeks, Karnataka has 10, Tamil Nadu has seven, and Andhra Pradesh has five.

720 more test positive in Tripura on Thrusday.

According to the daily Media Bulletin Out of 10,699 samples tested for COVID-19, 720 people found POSITIVE.

379 patients have recovered from Covid 19 on Thrusday.
