Induction training for newly recruited BRPs

Now the newly appointed BRPs of education department are also under training coverage of DEE. Pre-primary cell under the Directorate of Elementary Education organizes “Induction Training Program” exclusively for the benefit of the newly recruited Block Resource Persons (BRPs) of the state. The training of a total 170 number of BRPs is scheduled to be held in three batches.

The training program of batch-2 involving BRPsrecruited in west, sepahijala and khowai district was started from yesterday at SCERT training hall. A total of 62 trainees participated in this training. The program was inaugurated byhonorable Special Secretary of Education, IAS, RhavalHamendra Kumar. Director Secondary Education Sir NripendraChandra Sharma and the Director of Elementary Education Sri Shuvasis Bandopadhyay was also present as honorable guest. The special guests of the program were DEO west Sri RupanRoy and DDO SCERT Sri Debasis Roy. Branch officer of pre-primary cell cum NIPUN Tripura cell Sri Abhijit Samajpati was aslo present on the occasion to welcome the dignitaries. While addressing all the respected dignitaries along with the special secretary mainly emphasizes on focusing the roles and responsibilities of BRPs and aslo motivated them to be loyal to their profession and remain dedicated towards their duties. This training program will continue till 10th of this October.

Along with this training schedule more two venues are allottedfor the training of two more batches. On yesterday itself training of batch-3 also started at Gomati PRTI, covering all the BRPsrecruited in Gomati and South Tripura district, that is 57 in number.

In Kumarghat PRTI Induction training had already been started since 7th of October, involving 51 participants from Dhalai, Unakoti and North Tripura.

The focal theme of the Induction training program is the concept of “Early Child Care and Education”. Following this the newly recruited BRPs will be trained on pre-primary curriculum, teaching technique, all round development of child, evaluation techniques etc. The concept of all these will be helpful to them during school visits and supporting teachers whenever required. 

Along with these they will also get enriched with the concept of NIPUN Tripura Mission, Mission Mukul etc. As this is the first ever arranged training for the newly recruited BRPs, so the roles and responsibilities are being highlighted during the sessions. 

The pre-primary cell under the Directorate of Elementary Education conducted such trainings earlier also as per requirement. Among those the training conducted involving all the assigned teachers of 59 newly started vidyajyoti schools during the academic year 2023-24 was much significant. It came to know from the official source that the entire directorate is committed to take much more required initiatives to achieve the goal of quality education.
