Ahead of Assembly poll slated to be held in February 16, Indigenous People’s Front of Tripura (IPFT), the ally of ruling BJP has decided to form ‘unity’ with Tipra Motha.

Prem Kumar Reang, the president of IPFT wrote a letter to Tipra Motha’s Chairman Pradyot Kishore Debbarman in this regard.
Prem Kumar Reang said that he officially received Pradyot Kishore’s letter on January 13.

He further wrote, “I am writing this letter to express my sincere gratitude for proposal to “unite IPFT and TIPRA in any form for solving the question of survivability and existence of the Tiprasas with an endeavor of achieving our demand for Tipraland and Greater Tipraland State”.

The IPFT president added that he welcomed the opportunity to meet with Pradyot Kishore personally to discuss a broad range of issues of common interest of both the party.
