Journalist Debajit Guho Roy assaulted by TIPRA

Senior Journalist and Headlines Tripura Correspondent Debajit Guho Roy assaulted by Tipra Motha Supporters.

He somehow escaped from that place, he was collecting news at Durai Shyamrai ADC Village under Kamalpur Police Station.

Senior Journalist Debajit Guha Roy assaulted by 50-60 miscreants from Tipra Matha, as per source supporters of Tripura Motha went to seize power of ADC Village on that day. Upon receiving this news, the journalist rushed to that place. Upon reaching there, he was assaulted by a group of surrendered militants.

After he opened the camera and took a few shots. They snatched his camera and mobile phone, after deleting everything they returned the mobile, the camera was snatched away.

Meanwhile Agartala Press Club, FDPMC had condemned the incident and demand action against the culprits.
