38 CPIM candidates in Tripura submitted nominations for February 16 Assembly Polls in respective Constituencies on Friday

State CPIM secretary Jitendra Choudhury filed his nomination papers for 40-Sabroom Assembly constituency in South Tripura District

Jitendra Chowdhury, CPIM state secretary CPIM and candidate of 40-Sabroom assembly constituency along with Prabhat Tripura, CPIM candidate of 39-Manu assembly constituency submitted their nomination papers for the 2023 Legislative Assembly elections on Friday.
They marched along with thousands of people from Sabroom in a procession to the SDM office while they were going for submitting the nomination papers.

After submitting nomination papers, both candidates spoke with reporters. CPIM state secretary Jitendra Chowdhury said that the ruling BJP party has established a jungle rule in the last five years in terms of anarchy.

He added that the day has come to oust this jungle king and establish rule of law and it has officially started today with the filing of nomination papers.
