Light House Project to be completed by Dec’22: CM

Light House Scheme which has earned many appreciations and media coverage across and abroad, is soon going to be dedicated to the deserving persons under this scheme.

On Wednesday, CM Biplab Kumar Deb along with DM West, DGP Tripura Police and other officials of this project checked the ground reality after giving a visit at the “Light House Project Ground” in the Border Gol Chakkar Area.

While interacting with the media he informed that among the 6 North-Eastern States, for the first time Tripura would get a fully dedicated earth-quake resistant “Light House Scheme” capacity of 1000+ homes very soon.

The economically backward and weaker section people would get the advantage of this scheme.

The 5:31 acre land will be divided into two blocks for making these buildings. Every block is being made following the G+6 building system.

He said that the very last person of this society is also getting the benefits from the standard socio-economic schemes of the central government.

Common men would get the facility of these home by paying a very little amount of tax. Also, to an extent the householders would get a big tax remission from the taxpayer’s money.

This kind of project is being under progress for the first time in our state, said the CM as his ending remark on this matter.
