Major Achievements of Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission (TRLM) 01.04.2018 to 31.03.2021 Under RD Dept Govt of Tripura.

With the increased budget since 2018-19 the activities of TRLM have expanded from 18 blocks to 58 blocks.

Since 1st April 2018, there is a quantum jump in promotion of Women Self Help Groups (SHGs) in the State. In last three years a total families of 23151 women SHGs have been promoted by TRLM in the State.Till 2014-15 to 2017-18 number of women SHGs promoted by TRLM was only 4061, so, 5.5 time increase in promotion of women SHGs.

For economic sustainability and dignity of rural poor women Rs.134.55 Cr Community Fund have been provided to women Self Help Groups and their Village, Cluster Level Federations (CLF) since 2018-19 and it is 4.6 times higher than the previous era.

Tripura is highest among all North East and North West States in terms of providing average amount of Community Investment Fund (CIF) per SHGs.

Further for more economic support Rs. 225.08 Cr Bank loan have been provided to women Self Help Groups (SHGs) during 2018 to 2021, whereas, since 2014 -2018, it was only 4.96 Cr.

At present Women SHGs of TRLM are revolving around Rs. 400 Cr corpus among the SHG members for augmenting livelihoods and other demands.

NPA rate on SHG bank loan is remarkable, which is only 2.63% during 31st March, 2021. It is all time lowest in case of SHG financing in the history of Tripura.

Since 2018-19 to till date TRLM received 2 (two) national awards for implementation of NRLM in the State.

▪ For quality promotion of women Self Help Group (SHG) and their federations.

Directly supported 42551 primary sector livelihood activities of women SHGs during 2020-21, which includes non-chemical paddy cultivation, organic vegetable cultivation, scientific goat rearing, fish farming, nutrition garden, piggery, horticulture, mushroom cultivation etc.

For reducing risk of livestock owned by poor women SHG members large scale livestock vaccination being done on regular basis.

For increasing output by the women SHG member in agriculture field around 150 Custom hiring centers (agriculture implements bank) have been promoted by the Village Organization of SHGs.

Further for better marketing of products by the women SHG members, 20 vehicles have been provided to women SHG members through soft loan.
