MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS under MGNREGS IN TRIPURA

State generated 253.09 lakh person days @ 46 APDs during 2018-19, 344.02 lakh @61 APDs during 2019-20 and 437.23 lakh person days @75 APDs during 2020-21.

The achievement of providing on an average 75 days work to a household having a MGNREGS job card is double the achievement of providing on an average 34 days work to a household having a MGNREGS job card during 2017-18.

The State provided 2nd HIGHEST average person-days (75 APDs) to a household having a MGNREGS job card in the country during 2020-21 FY.

Improvement in the achievement has been steady and State secured 1st RANK under hilly states for implementation of good governance initiatives during 2018-19 FY.

TIMELY PAYMENTS of wages has improved from 84.4% during 2017-18 to 98.24 % during 2020-21.

The State has a work completion rate of 99.16% which is above the national average of 85.62% for the works taken up to 2020-21.

Average Person Days (APD) 98.14 in 12 ASPIRATIONAL BLOCKS . Five blocks achieved more than 100 APD the remaining 4 Blocks achieved more than 90 APD. 3 Blocks more than 80 APD ( see chart uploaded for details).
