Ex Chief Minister and CPIM Leader Manik Sarkar urges Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb to provide necessary help to blind people.
In his letter Ex Chief Minister and CPIM Leader Manik Sarkar wrote “A delegation on behalf of ‘ALL TRIPURA BLIND ASSOCIATION’ met me on 19th February 2022 and handed over a Memorandum soliciting help to solve their long-pending burning and genuine demands”.
He added “It is known to all sensible people that, the Visually Handicapped people always need sympathy and necessary help from the government and the society for their security, survival and prosperity in order to build confidence in them about their own inherent strength, ability and capability. According to their expression, it is found that they are not getting due sympathy and necessary help from the government of Tripura. It is a sorry state of affair”.
He also said “Please find enclosed herewith a copy of their Memorandum which is self explanatory. I think, there is no need of further elaboration and narrating of their problems and demands too”.
In the end he wrote “Therefore, I would request you to see their Memorandum for taking necessary step(s) from your end to solve their problems. They may also be called to brief their problems by themselves which may be useful for you to arrive at a position that how best you can extend help of your government to them without further delay”.
