Massive response to Sansad Mega Health Camp’ At Mohanpur

Former Chief Minister and incumbent Rajya Sabha MP, Biplab Kumar Deb took the initiative to organize a ‘Sansad Mega Health Camp’ on Friday at Swami Vivekananda College in Mohanpur.

The camp provided treatment to a total of 1,189 patients, who were also given the necessary medications.

Besides, various medical tests were conducted free of cost for the benefit of the patients.
A team of expert doctors specializing in paediatrics, neurology, cardiology, eye, nose, ear, throat, bone, skin, gynaecology, dentistry, and medicine departments from renowned hospitals across the country such as Safdarjung Hospital, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, PGI Hospital, and Max Hospital attended the camp.
Rajya Sabha MP Deb spoke at the event and pointed out that there has been a significant transformation in medical services in India since 2014, under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

He added that, “Specialist doctors from reputable hospitals in the country were present at the health camp to offer medical services and provide necessary medication in the camp. The health camp was organized to bring the impact of this transformation in the medical field to the Mohanpur area of the state.”

Deb encouraged the residents to utilize the Ayushman Bharat Card to attain benefit from medical treatment at the camp.

During the event, Ratanlal Nath, the Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister, expressed his gratitude towards Rajya Sabha MP Biplab Kumar Deb for taking the initiative to organize the health camp in Mohanpur.

Nath further highlighted that three such mega health camps had been organized in the state with the aim of providing better healthcare services to underprivileged individuals, and that expert doctors from renowned hospitals across the country were present to offer their medical expertise to the attendees.
