Meeting held to make Neermahal Palace plastic-free

A meeting was held on making Neermahal plastic-free and elimination of drug-based materials.

The meeting was presided over by MLA Kishore Barman Chairperson of Melaghar Municipal Council Anamika Ghosh Pal Ray, Chairman of Boxanagar Panchayat Samiti Sanjoy Sarkar, Chairman of Nalchar Panchayat Samiti Jaharlal Ghosh, President of Rudrasagar Matsyajivi Udbastu Samabay Samiti Pabitra Kumar Das, Secretary Parmeswar Das and officials of different departments were present in the meeting.

It was decided in the meeting that awareness programmes will be conducted among students of different schools to make Neermahal Palace plastic-free with the initiative of Information & Cultural Affairs department.

Taking water bottles or plastic materials inside the palace will be prohibited.
