Mission Mukul Programme in Charilam Block

Mission Mukul programme started yesterday in Charilam Block through a programme at South Charilam English Medium High School.

In this programme, the teachers of Anganwadi centres will take the children to schools once a month to get familiarized with the school ambiance and get interested in schooling. The programme started with children aged 4 to 6 years.

Speaking on the occasion, Nodal Officer of NIPUN Tripura Abhijit Sanajpati said that about 85 per cent of 4 to 6 year old children study at Anganwadi centres in the state.

This programme is undertaken for their mental development School Inspector of Charilam Block Uttam Kumar Dutta and Chairman of SMC Committee of South Charilam English Medium High School Liton Nath Bhowmik were present on the occasion.
