Senior lawyer Kalyan Narayan Bhattacharya sworn in as the newly appointed Lokayukta of the state.

Newly appointed Lokayukta of Tripura, Senior Advocate Kalyan Narayan Bhattacharya sworn in presence of CM Biplab Kumar Deb, at Raj Bhavan.

Governor Satyadeo Narayan Arya administered the oath to him at new Raj Bhawan.

After the swearing-in ceremony, Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb said, “People are part of the Indian Constitution.” The Chief Minister hoped that the newly appointed Lokayukta Senior Advocate Kalyan Narayan Bhattacharya would work for the welfare of the people of the state.

The swearing-in ceremony was also attended by Revenue Minister NC Debvarma, Education Minister Ratanlal Nath, Assembly Speaker Rebati Mohan Das, Chief Secretary Kumar Alok, Director General of State Police VS Yadav and others.
