Newly constructed 64 bedded Tribal Rest House inaugurated
The newly constructed Kumari Madhuti Rupasree Tribal Rest House at Melarmath was officially inaugurated today by Tribal Welfare Minister Mevar Kumar Jamatia.
The 64-bedded tribal rest house was inaugurated in presence of Secretary of Tribal Welfare department Puneet Agarwal. Director of Tribal Welfare department Dr. Vishal Kumar, and West Tripura District Welfare Officer Budhilian Hrangkhawl.
However, the tribal rest house had been virtually inaugurated by the Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on August 27.
The objective of this newly built tribal rest house is to provide night halting facility to the tribal people travelling to the state head quarter for different purposes like treatment, education, business etc.
The three storied tribal rest house will have 64 beds in 28 rooms spreading across 0.2560 acres of land. This information was collected from a press release issued by Director of Tribal Welfare department Dr. Vishal Kumar.
