Night curfew will be from 8PM from 20th January in Tripura

Amid rise in Covid cases Tripura government has decided to extend the Night Curfew timing from 9PM to 8PM from 20th January 2022 in view of the surge in the Covid positive cases, Minister Sushanta Chowdhury said this while addressing a Press Meet today.

While addressing Media he said the new Night Curfew timing will be from 8 PM (instead of 9 pm) to 5 am the next morning.
 
He also announced that All malls, cinema halls, multiplex, parks, picnic spots, exhibitions and fairs will now remain closed.

The measures are being taken to avoid the spread of deadly coronavirus. The government has requested the people to follow Covid appropriate behaviour.

The positivity rate in AMC on Monday reached 23.15 percent.

A notification on the new restrictions will be issued on Wednesday.
