NIPUN Programme of Education Department: Four days long workshop at Kumarghat

A four-day workshop with BRC, CRC and academic coordinators of Unakoti, Dhalai and North districts has started yesterday at PRTI Hall, Kumarghat with the aim of skill development in language learning and mathematics for Pre-Primary to Class III students under NIPUN Programme of the Education Department.

The workshop organized by Avan Trust was inaugurated by Sabhadhipati of Unakoti Zilla Parishad Amalendu Das In his inaugural address, he said, to make children fearless in learning, appropriate environment must be created in the classroom Children should be encouraged so that they are interested in coming to school on their own. No pressure can be put between them. Special attention should be given to inculcate reading habit in children in a joyful environment.

He said that in the country, the North Eastern region including Tripura is in a good place in the field of education. He also urged the concerned to teach children under the guise of sports. District Education Officer of Unakoti Prashanta Kilikdar delivered the welcome address on the occasion. Besides, Assistant Director of Avan Trust Shakshi Sharma and Avan Trust’s State Programme Lead Anima Debbarma spoke at the opening ceremony.
