Informing this to the media, Law Minister Ratan Lal Nath today said the one and half day off will have to be adjusted to the workers by next two months. “There will no hard and first rule on keeping shop open or close. It will be depended on the owner. But employees or workers should not be deprived of legitimate weekly holidays. Besides, no employer could force employees or workers to work more than eight hours. However, there will be scope for overtime to the employees or staff”, explained.

Nath further added owners could introduce double-shift in a day if they think so but Labour department should be informed about the decision.
