Agartala, 20 November : The State NSUI President, Samrat Roy has issued an indirect warning to the State Education Department regarding the correction of exam marks criteria.
He said that the government is playing with the future of students. He burst into anger while facing the media. “Previously it was decided by the authorities that the final exams of class 9 and 11 would be of 40 marks.
And as usually students kept on their preparation. But now all of a sudden it is decided that the exams would be of 80 marks. This is not acceptable as well as expected at all. We will not tolerate this” stated Mr. Roy before the press.
He also added that they will continue their movement untill they bow down the authorities on their knees.
He also pleaded legally to the department for an immediate rectification of the current decision and behold the previous for the sake of students.
NSUI threatened to launch a massive agitation if the the government did not reverse with the decision of 80 marks the examination for the students of Class IX and X.
