Agartala, January 25, 2022: On Monday, the Ex CM and Opposition Minister Manik Sarkar by calling a press conference took a dig at the PM as well as the HM.
Subjecting the speech of PM Modi and HM Amit Shah delivered by them on Tripura’s 50th Statehood Day occasion; the opposition minister missed no chance to prove them wrong and nonsensical over the ground what they said and delivered addressing the common people of state virtually that day.
Opposition leader Manik Sarkar alleged that the Prime Minister had deliberately tried to disrespect the struggling role of the people of Tripura in his short speech in the transition to democracy in Tripura.
Manik Sarkar also alleged that a large number of British liquor licenses have been issued since the current state government came to power. He also alleged that the present state government had not fulfilled any of the promises made in the vision document. Moreover, Manik Sarkar mentioned the achievements of the past Left era in the state from this press conference and expressed his hope in forming government in the upcoming 2023 elections.
