Addressing a press conference on Friday at Party Headquarters in Agartala, BJP said that the upcoming assembly election is an important election for the state.
Referring to the Congress-CPIM alliance, BJP said that people of the entire state are noticing that those who were against each other for a long time became united in one alliance.
BJP added that BJP has no comment on that as any political party can take its stand. Referring to the Majlishpur incident in the Jirania sub-division of Tripura, BJP said that the Election Commission runs the administration after the declaration of election.
In this situation, opposition parties are taking several propaganda and unwanted steps to create an anarchic situation in the state, which is not desirable at all.
BJP added that a bike rally of Congress started from Agartala and reached Sachindra Nagar Colony in Majlishpur, which had no permission to reach the area on January 18 and a group of Congress workers and supporters entered the BJP booth office and attacked the BJP workers.
BJP hoped that the Election Commission will take appropriate measures through the administration.
BJP also alleged that several efforts and conspiracies are going on to spoil the BJP party by spreading lies and creating confusion among people across the state of Tripura.
