Orissa HC Judge Justice Jaswant Singh Is New Chief Justice Of Tripura High Court

Jaswant Singh is appointed as the Tripura High Court’s new Chief Justice, which is notified by the Central Government.

The name of Jaswant Singh was proposed as the Chief Justice of the Orissa High Court in September 2022 as the replacement for Justice Muralidhar, who was recommended to be transferred as the Chief Justice of the Madras High Court.

Union Law minister Kiren Rijiju announced the appointment on Twitter.
Notably, Justice Singh is the second senior most judge of the Orissa HC and will take over the charge from Tripura HC’s acting Chief Justice Amarnath T. Goud.
