“Over 2 lakh gas connections have already been provided to the people under Ujjawala Yojana in last ten months” Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb mentioned.

The state government would be offering more 4.2 lakh LPG connection in next one year.

While inaugurating five day long Pratyekrai Poush Mela and Sanhati Utsav, the chief minister was accompanied by his wife Niti Deb, Deputy Speaker Biswabandhu Sen, MLA Binoy Bhusan Das.

As part of the Dharmanagar visit, the Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb also inaugurated Radhamadhav Multipurpose Community Hall at Bar Akhra ground of Pratyekrai.
