Chief Minister’s reaction on municipal election

While addressing the media Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb at the Secretariat said, yesterday the masses have casted their votes for municipal election in a festive manner.

81.54% casting in yesterday vote, which proves that the people have faith in the state government.

More women than men have participated in three Nagar Panchayats.

Besides, two persons aged 107 years, and 105 years and one person aged 103 years have also casted their votes yesterday which is the reflection of state government working towards empowering the democratic system of the state.
