Personal rivalry likely behind Benu Biswas’s murder

On Thrusday night at about one person namely Benu Biswas (47) S/o Lt. Manindra Biswas of Kamalpur, PS – PR Bari was brought dead at Niharnagar PHC, South Tripura.

Accordingly PR Bari Police Station was informed and based on requisition of attending medical officer an Un-Natural Death case was registered.

During inquest upon the dead body of Lt benu Biswas in presence of independent witnesses including his family members. no external injury was noticed by the investigating officer.

On Friday the Post Mortem over the dead body of said Benu Biswas was conducted by a team of Medical Officers at Niharnagar PHC.

As per the preliminary Post Mortem Report of the team of Medical Officers no abnormality is detected in connection with the death of Benu Biswas.

Moreover, no sign of any injury mark on the body of the deceased has been noticed.

However, the Medical Officers kept their final opinion pending or forensic and toxicological analysis of the viscera which has been handed over to police. Further investigation is going on.

There has been some social media posts with suspected fake photographs of deceased containing injury marks to create doubt about the cause of death. Accordingly an investigation has been taken up for taking appropriate legal action. People are requested not to fall prey to fake social media post.

The family of the deceased alleged that a 39-year-old man named Manik Sarkar had caused the incident because of personal rivalry
