“In the 15th installment of the PM Kisan Scheme, a total of Rs 44.59 crore has been disbursed to the bank accounts of the farmers of the state. It has benefited 2 lakh 22 thousand 955 farmers of the state.” Agriculture Minister Ratanlal Nath announced this news in a press conference at the press conference hall of the secretariat on Thursday.
Notably, the Prime Minister paid a total of 18 thousand crore rupees to the bank accounts of 8 crore farmers across the country in the 15th installment of the PM Kisan scheme on November 15.
The Agriculture Minister said, “A total of 640 crore 43 lakhs rupees has been given to the bank accounts of the farmers of the state under the PM Kisan scheme.
Out of this, 103 crore 43 lakh 48 thousand rupees has been paid to the bank account of farmers belonging to Dhalai district, 102 crore 30 lakh 10 thousand rupees in Gomati district, 58 crore 32 lakh 98 thousand rupees in Khowai district, and 117 crore 13 lakh 90 thousand rupees in North Tripura district.”
He added, “73 crore 2 lakh 80 thousand rupees in Sepahijala district, 94 crore 65 lakh 48 thousand rupees in South Tripura district, 41 crore 61 lakh 46 thousand rupees in Unakoti district and 49 crore 93 lakh 26 thousand rupees have been paid to the farmers of West Tripura district.”
