A Police Beat House has been inaugurated in Behalaberi by Tribal Welfare Minister Mevar Kumar Jamnatia yesterday through a small programme.
After inaugurating the Police Beat House the Minister said, the long demand of the locals has been fulfilled of setting up a Beat House in the area.
He called upon everyone to maintain peace in the area where a mixture of communities is residing in.
Others present in the inaugural programme were Sabhadhipati of Khowai Zila Parishad Joydeb Debbarma, member Jolly Baman, Additional Sub-Divisional Magistrate Sushanta Sarkar, Police Superintendent Bhanupad Chakraborty, SDPO Rajib Sutradhar.
