Police seized 148 Kg dry ganja; contained in 4 plastic drum & in 1 Plastic sacks

Based on source information on Wednesday night Officer-In-Charge, Melaghar Police Station along with officers & staff conducted raid & search in the house of one Pradip Ghosh S/0 Kunja Bihari Ghosh of Shibnagar under Melaghar Police Station & seized total 148 Kg dry ganja contained in 04 Nos plastic drum & 01 Plastic sacks.

A case has been registered in this regard and the case is under further investigation.

Based on secret information on Wednesday evening, Sub-Divisional Police Officer, Deputy Collector & Magistrate, Logntharai Valley along with officers & staff of Chailengta Police Station conducted search & raid in the house of one Subham Chakma S/O Sri Gandharaj Chakma of Baganbari under Chailengta Police Station and seized total 4.14 gm suspected Heroin.

The accused Subham Chakma has been arrested. A case has been registered in this regard and the case is under further investigation.
