Political clashes: Section 144 imposed in some Parts of Agartala

Amid political clashes in Agartala, the Sadar administration has imposed a prohibitory order under section 144 of Cr.P.C.

The order will remain in force at Colonel Chowmuhani to B.K. Chowmuhani to Post Office Chowmuhani, Chandrapur to Ashram Chowmuhani while area and Math Chowmuhani to Old Motor Stand up to Surya Chowmuhani and G.B. Bazar to Kumari Tilla to Abhoynagar from 10.30 pm of February 26 to 5.30 pm of February 27.

1. No assembly of 5 (Five) or more persons in the above specified areas.
2. No unauthorized use of Microphones & Amplifiers and any other devices to magnify the human voices in the area specified above.
3. No collection of bricks & bricks bats by anyone in the said areas. 4. No entry of any unauthorized outsiders in the said areas
4. No carrying or retaining of lethal weapon by any person.

These restrictions shall not be applicable to the Government employees deployed for maintaining Law & Order & for those of attending Medical exigencies.

The order shall remain in force from 10.30 PM of 26.02.2022 to 5.00 AM of 27.02.2022 with in the area specified above.
