Power Tillers to 10 farmers in Jirania under RKVY

Different kinds of agricultural items are being given to farmers under Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yogana in Jirania sub-division.

Power Tillers were given in subsidy to 10 farmers in Jirania were in sub-division under the scheme. Among them, 5 farmers were from Jirania block, 3 fanics were from Old Agartala block. and 2 fammers were from Belbari block of the sub-division.

Subsidy of 85 thousand rupees was provided for purchase of each Power Tiller. Apart from that paddy thrashers were distributed to 26 farmers under the scheme in sub-division spending total 12 lakh 22 thousand rupees. Among them, 10 farmers were from Jirania block, 7 farmers were from Belbari block, 9 farmers were from Old Agartala block.
