Preparatory Meeting for Raj Rajeshwari cum Diwall festival 2021

A preparatory Meeting for Raj Rajeshwari cum Diwali festival 2021 was held at Raj Rajeshwari Temple premises in Muhuripur under Santirbazar sub division.

The meeting was chaired by Dietrict Magistrate, South Tripura Saju Vaheed A. on 26″ October. It was decided in the meeting that the festival will be celebrated for two days on 4th & 5 of November 2021 in the premises of Raj Rajeshwari Temple.

The meeting was presided over by In-charge of sub-divisional administration, Santirbazar Jogeshwar Reang. This year also different line departments of the state government will take part and about 15 stalls will be set up on the mela ground.

The mela committee has decided in the meeting that for the smooth functioning of the mela, Covid guidelines shall be followed during the two-day festival.

DM, South Tripura Saju Vaheed A. urged all the stakeholders of the mela to maintain law & order for peaceful conduction of the festival. Different line departments, local administration, police officials shall strictly monitor & perform their duties for smooth functioning of the programmes.

The two-day festival will be followed by cultural programmes and religious rituals. The next review meeting was decided to be held on 30″ October in the same venue.

Chairman of Panchayat Samiti, Bokafa RD block Srdam Das, BDO, Jolaibari RD block Dr. Abhijit Das, Assistant Director of ICA department Ripon Chakma and other officials were also present in the meeting.
