The present government has given utmost importance to development of quality education. The objective behind this is to prepare the students of the state for national level entrance examinations, enunciated SC Welfare Minister Bhagaban Chandra Das after inaugurating the programme of bicycle distribution to female students of Kumarghat HS School under Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan, distribution of school bags to students from class 1 to 3 and distribution of tabs for digital library in school today.
Bicylcles have been distributed to total 416 female students of 3 schools of Kumarghat Municipal Council area in the programme Furthermore, school bags have been distributed to total 747 students of primary school till class 3 and 120 tabs have been distributed for digital library in a High School The programme was presided over by Chairman of Managing Committee of Kumarghat HS Girl’s School Animesh Sinha.
The SC Welfare Minister also said, distributing bicycles to all female students who have passed 9 standard is a majestic decision of the state government. Prior to 2018. bicycles were used to be distributed to female students based on their family income.
Besides, tans are now being distributed creating digital library in schools to encourage students towards educating themselves and to provide quality learning to the students so that they may achieve success in national level examinations. He said, education is reaching rural areas in the same pace as in the city. Specially, students are seen to be eager to learn in English Medium, which is why English Medium Schools are now being opened in rural areas for the expansion of quality education in the state. More than 100 Vidyajyoti Schools have been opened
