Recruitment of nurses, around 600 doctors, CHOs underway says CM

Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb on Thursday said a process for recruitment of nurses and around 600 doctors is underway.

He also hinted that more Community Health Officers (CHOs) would be recruited for Community Health Centres, Primary Health Centres and Sub Health Centres.

Addressing a programme in Agartala, Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb said this. He said “Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb on Thursday said, recruitment of nurses and nearly 600 doctors is under process. He also said, a good number of Community Health Officers would be recruited through NHM”.

Tripura government is focusing on transforming all the health centres into Health and Wellness Centres by recruiting CHOs by December, this year and it would be a landmark for the state’s healthcare, Deb said.
